| Description | Light enough to race strong enough to ride every day the ENVE M525 Industry Nine hub combination is ready to be built into the ultimate 27.5 or 29er XC mountain bike wheelset. Designed for today's XC racers who demand incredible uphill speed and downhill performance the ENVE M525 is a tubeless-only rim engineered to be incredibly strong and reliable yet wider lighter and more compliant than the competition. The M525 utilises ENVE's Dynamic Impact Design. With the M525 this is a V-shaped rim profile paired with ENVE's patented Wide Hookless Bead design. This exclusive teardrop shaping of the rim's leading edges better dissipates energy from big hits reducing the chance of snakebite flats or impact damage. In fact the M525 has 40% higher impact strength than the previous generation. This unleashes your speed by retiring worries about pinch flats for maximum confidence no matter how technical the trail is. Combined with the 25mm inner rim width it also gives the ability to run modern high-volume lightweight 2.1 to 2.4" XC tyres at lower pressures for maximum traction and added compliance. As with all ENVE's rims the M525 is handmade from raw uni-directional carbon fibre at ENVE HQ in Utah USA. The bespoke construction process utilises patented moulded spoke holes removable bladders for weight-saving precision and a gorgeous paint-free finish to further reduce weight while maintaining strength stiffness and allowing the beautiful handmade quality to shine through. This wheelset is built around Industry Nine hubs. Every Industry Nine mountain bike hub is made start to finish in its Asheville North Carolina USA machine shop. The shells axles and encaps are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and the hubs are finished in Industry Nine's in-house anodizing lab. Built in-house at Saddleback our wheels are fully customisable and we are able to offer a range of different specifications and hub colours to help create a totally unique set of bespoke wheels.
